If you are on internet then you have come across a meme, because it is everywhere.

According to Oxford dictionary Meme is – An element of a culture or system of behavior that may be considered to be passed from one individual to another by non-genetic means, especially imitation. And in the internet world meme is considered a humorous image, video, piece of text, etc that is copied (often with slight variations) and spread rapidly by Internet users.

Today content marketers use, meme as a marketing tool that engages the customers and promotes the brand.

How does it work?
The memes are easy to understand by target audience as it is tailored to their cultural values. B2B marketers should note that a great industry joke will grab many likes.

Memes are funny and sarcastic. Humor really helps marketers to keep the customers attention. Memes are short and sweet. Easy to consume and memorabiity is high.

You can do a google or bing image search for your topic with the word meme. You will find a whole library of meme.
